Antique silver ring with traditional charro button for women, Salamanca, jewelry
Antique silver ring with traditional charro button for women, Salamanca, jewelry
Out of stock
This handcrafted silver ring features a classic Salamanca-style charro button as its central motif, an emblematic jewel of Spanish goldsmithing tradition. With its round shape and filigree and beadwork decoration, this design evokes the folklore of the Salamanca region, where these buttons were originally part of regional costumes, later adapted as ornaments on pendants, brooches, and rings.
The piece, solidly crafted and clearly handmade, has a slim, comfortable body that fits lightly on the finger. The button, composed of a circular base decorated with embossed spheres and a central braided wire, is rich in symbolism: in ancient times it represented the solar cycle and protection.
