Antique engraved silver chatelaine nib, Victorian floral design
Antique engraved silver chatelaine nib, Victorian floral design
Out of stock
Antique silver-engraved nib, designed to be carried in a chatelaine. Its tubular body, finely decorated with embossed floral motifs, reflects the aesthetic taste of the Victorian era (circa 1900).
Inside, it houses a tubular rod, possibly made of celluloid, bakelite, or another antique material, used for applying ink or marking. The upper ring allowed it to be easily attached to chains, ribbons, or belts, typical of chatelaine accessories.
