Tribal silver bracelet with oval cylindrical design and clasp ca. 1940-1950

Out of stock

Traditional ethnic bracelet, made of silver-plated alloy (antique silver appearance) with a cylindrical oval design, articulated body, and decorated square clasp at the base. Circa 1940-1950.

The exterior is completely covered with repetitive geometric engravings and reliefs that combine diagonal lines, dots, and semicircular shapes. The decoration simulates plant or symbolic motifs typical of the nomadic or tribal cultures of the region.

This type of bracelet was handcrafted and used as a ceremonial adornment or status symbol. The concealed hinge clasp with a central rivet and double-domed design is characteristic of antique Indian and Afghan bracelets. The interior shows signs of oxidation and wear, typical of a piece of considerable age.
