A delicate monogram brooch in the shape of the letter J, made of gold-filled metal on a base, dating from around 1900–1910, during the Art Nouveau period. The design is notable for its organic dynamism and floral symmetry, with stems and leaves framing the central letter in a calligraphic style.
It is decorated with four pink crystal gems set in the shape of a flower and two pearls forming a romantic and feminine motif very representative of the decorative taste of the time.
These types of pieces were frequently given as personalized brooches with initials, often in affectionate or family contexts. An original period piece, ideal as a collector's item, to wear on lapels, collars, or hats.
