Swedish heraldic brooch in gilt silver and blue enamel, depicting the Great Royal Coat of Arms of Sweden. Piece dated 1973 with official Swedish hallmarks and excellent relief work.
Manufactured by Sporrong & Company (S&Co), it features the Swedish crown national stamp, the silver S hallmark, and the date letter Y8 corresponding to 1973. The central medallion displays the Stora Riksvapnet or Great Coat of Arms of the Kingdom of Sweden, with heraldic lions holding the blazon under a royal crown. Finished in vermeil-type gilt silver and blue vitrified enamel. A piece of interest for collectors of heraldry, phaleristics, and Scandinavian jewelry.
