Spanish sterling silver box decorated with a costumbrista scene in high relief depicting several women picking grapes during the harvest. Its gilded interior (vermeil) and the fine relief work make this piece an excellent decorative and collectible item from the mid-20th century.

The composition evokes the Spanish rural tradition with a romantic aesthetic inspired by historical and pastoral scenes. It retains Spanish sterling silver hallmarks and a maker's mark whose reading appears to correspond to Vera.
