The hallmark suggests that it must have been made by Eugène Gilbert & Cie (EG&Cie), dated between 1914 and 1918, this collector's piece stands out for its detailed vibrant blue guilloché enamel on the lid, framed by marquise-set ornamentation and refined filigree work in an Art Deco design.
