French box in solid silver Minerva 950 Hénin & Cie, floral engraving
Out of stock
Small round French box made of high purity solid silver (Minerva 1, 950/1000), manufactured by the Parisian workshop Hénin et Cie between 1896 and 1901. The signature "H&Cie" and the official hallmarks (a rosebud and a star) confirm its authenticity, along with the Minerva 1 hallmark.
It features a delicate embossed design of garlands and flowers on the lid and rim, with a symmetrical composition rich in detail. The interior is immaculate, and the hinge closure is functional. Ideal as a box for small items or for a silverware collection.
A representative example of the decorative elegance of late 19th-century French silverware, highly prized by collectors and specialized museums.
