The lid features two central flowers in relief surrounded by scrolls and engraved plant motifs. The body maintains a continuous decoration of ornamental scrolls framing a plain cartouche at the base. The interior has a single compartment and a metal hinge. It bears the Italian hallmark with a star, the manufacturer's number, and the province of registration in Milan.
