These types of pendants were popular as protective amulets or symbols of good fortune, very common between the 1940s and 1960s, possibly of Asian origin (China or Southeast Asia). Jade has been valued for centuries for its spiritual properties and hardness, being especially relevant in Eastern cultures.

Ideal as a talisman, for collectors of Eastern art, or as a unique piece within an eclectic selection of vintage accessories.
