Catholic devotional silver-tone metal Saint Anthony of Padua cross medal, circa 1970

Out of stock

Religious cross-shaped medal dedicated to Saint Anthony of Padua, made of silver-toned metal and decorated with detailed reliefs. The obverse depicts the mystical vision of the saint, while the reverse shows the famous Brief of Saint Anthony accompanied by traditional formulas of protection and Christian devotion.

Although it reproduces a blessing approved by Pope Leo XIII in 1892, this piece corresponds to a later manufacture intended for pilgrims and devout faithful. Coming from the sanctuary of the Caves of Saint Anthony in Brive, France, it is an interesting religious souvenir and Catholic collection item from the third quarter of the 20th century.
