Signed “Huguenin Dep.” at the bottom, it corresponds to the prestigious Swiss firm Huguenin Frères, recognized for its quality work in medals, coins and decorative silver objects in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
In 1868, Fritz-Aimé Huguenin-Dezot (1845-1915), an engraver and designer, and his brother Zélim-Albert (1849-1928), an engraver and lathe operator, opened a small workshop specializing in the decoration of watch cases.
