This round vanity case, made of embossed silver, dates from around 1900-1910, during the height of the Art Nouveau or European Modernism style. Its body, with sinuous shapes and organic ornamentation, is decorated with floral motifs, spirals, and relief textures, characteristic of the decorative design of the period.
The interior retains its original mirror, embedded in the lid, and a compartment, indicating its use as a feminine powder compact.
These small boxes were luxury items on dressing tables in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and today they constitute a collectible and decorative object, ideal as a travel jewelry box, ring box or as a gift with history.
