Out of stock
Art Nouveau silver round powder compact with a gilt interior and a decorative bas-relief engraving. The piece features a detailed vegetal motif with thistles on both sides. The closure is a ring for a chain or chatalaine, integrated into the body of the compact. Circa 1900.
The exterior decoration is symmetrical, with detailed work of plant lines and a central rosette with thistles, in an ornamental style reminiscent of Art Nouveau due to the fluidity of its natural forms.
