Great find of this Beautiful large Victorian brooch made in 18k gold and carved shell cameo, this brooch has an unusual scene with a scene of a woman wiping sweat with a handkerchief in front of a fountain with the year 1844 engraved, topped with a flowers
Others may see a woman crying in front of her loved one's grave with the inscription of the year of the death of a loved one or family member.
A very unusual gem.
