Traditional charro choker, made of silver, handcrafted in Spain between 1970 and 1980. This piece is part of the renowned charro goldsmith tradition, originating in Salamanca, and is distinguished by its symmetrical floral motifs in the form of embossed rosettes, decorated with small hand-soldered spheres.
The design features three central flowers, connected by tubular links, suspended from a flat chain, completing a simple yet meaningful aesthetic. These rosettes, known as "botones charros," have deep roots in Castilian culture and were traditionally used as symbols of protection, fertility, and community belonging.
Charro jewelry was a common gift for engagements, weddings, or as part of a woman's trousseau. Today, these pieces are highly valued for their symbolic meaning and meticulous craftsmanship. Ideal for collectors of ethnographic jewelry, lovers of Spanish folklore, or as a unique piece to incorporate history and personality into your style.
