Lot of two original Art Deco dress clips, made of dark-colored molded celluloid with integrated metal clasps. One features a burgundy trapezoidal design with curved lines and a carved surface, decorated in the center with a classically inspired oval cameo. The other clip is triangular with faceted ends and a smooth black surface, finished with a geometric engraving in the shape of crossed diamonds.
Both pieces retain their metal clasp at the back. The only one with a mark is the cameo clip, which bears the "Delcia Depose" marks of origin and a riveted hinge system common to European models of the 1930s. The interplay of shapes and color contrasts—a translucent dark burgundy brown and an opaque black—fits perfectly with the functional and decorative aesthetic of Art Deco fashion.
Designed to attach to the lapel, neckline, or hem of lightweight garments, these clips served both an ornamental and practical function. They are in very good condition, with minor signs of wear consistent with their age. Perfect as a vintage accessory or collector's item.
