Art Nouveau medal in metal and enamel, circa 1910-20, with an angel and child in adoration before the Eucharist. Oval shape with decorated frame and top loop.
The scene depicts a guardian angel accompanying a kneeling child before the altar with a radiant monstrance, in a devotional composition with soft lines characteristic of Art Nouveau. The front is enameled in soft tones and has a raised metal frame. The reverse is plain. This medal is designed to be worn on a chain as a personal devotional item.
