Original antique Mitsouko wood effect box and bottle from the 1930s-40s of the Guerlain L'Heure Bleue Paris perfume, with the Baccarat bottle with a red and blue label that includes the indications "province et en Belgique" and the Roman numerals I. VS. According to Guerlain references, these details correspond to the years 1930 or 1940.
Mitsouko, Fol Arome and L'Heure Bleue parquet boxes, years 1912-1920. This box is made of wood covered in paper, they are from the first stage, notice that the design on the front is different from the current boxes that we normally see. The box we show you is the old one and has a wood grain effect, so the paint source is also slightly foliated. Additionally, the tree design is more stylized than the later boxes and the bird motifs are also slightly different shapes.
This Guerlain object is highly collectible, although it does not contain the perfume, which possibly evaporated once opened. Few could have imagined 100 years ago that, on a beautiful afternoon in 1912, Jacques Guerlain would experience during that 'heure bleue' an emotion so intense that it could only be expressed through perfume. Thus was born L'Heure Bleue, in honor of that magical hour of dusk, suspended in time.
L'Heure Bleue is presented in the iconic bottle, created in 1908 for the Guerlain Rue de la Paix perfume and which has since housed almost all of the house's fragrances.

What you are buying (important)
We sell antique and vintage items. These are not new or recently manufactured products. Due to their age and previous use, they may show signs of wear, marks, scratches, minor losses, or variations inherent to the passage of time. These characteristics are part of their nature and are not considered defects. We recommend carefully reviewing the photographs, as they show the actual condition of the piece. If you need to confirm a specific detail before purchasing, please contact us.
Photos and color
The photographs are taken under artificial light. For this reason, the color may vary slightly depending on your screen and lighting. If color is critical for you, we can send you additional photos taken in natural light to get as close as possible to the actual color.
Patina and cleaning
Many pieces develop a patina over time. We don't remove it, as it's a natural process that can take decades to form and, in many cases, contributes to the piece's aesthetic value and character.
If you decide to clean or polish, do so carefully and with the material in mind. The buyer should make this decision, as cleaning can affect the appearance, authenticity, and, in some cases, the value. If you need cleaning instructions based on the material, please contact us and we'll guide you.
