An exquisite English silver (925) cigarette case, manufactured by J. Collyer Ltd in Birmingham, and dated 1938, as indicated by its contrasting interior. The piece features elaborate hand-engraving in a late Victorian ornamental style, with floral swirls and a central shield-shaped monogram, giving it a refined and personalized appearance.
The original textile bands are preserved inside, and the gold vermeil lining is still present, providing contrast and visual warmth. Ideal as a collectible, decorative item, or as a gift with a story.
