Small flower vase or single-flower vase, made of hallmarked 916 silver by the Barcelona workshop Riera y Carreras, active in the mid-20th century. Bell-shaped and elegantly designed, it stands out for its tall, slender neck that opens into a wavy rim with delicate edging.
These types of vases were popular as decorative elements on dressing tables or in display cabinets, designed to hold a single flower—a small rose or jasmine, or violets. Their understated, elongated aesthetic evokes the refined taste of the 1940s and 50s, making them ideal for minimalist decor or vintage settings.
Marked on the base with the "Riera y Carreras" seal and the purity number 916, corresponding to a high quality silver alloy used in Spanish artistic silverware of the period.
